Who done it?
Arlene Bandes -- Art teacher par excellence, printmaker, senior stamp designer, marketing strategist, stamp trimmer, fulfillment manager. Arlene has designed almost all our Judaic stamps (catalog numbers in the 1000s) and all those whose catalog number are in the 4000s. Her monotypes have won awards in Newton Art Association exhibits.
Dean Bandes -- Software engineer, webmaster, eraser carver, stamp indexer. Dean is a member of the Carving Consortium e-mail list and was occasional contributor to the print zine Eraser Carvers Quarterly. His designs have catalog numbers in the 3000s, and he did the Hebrew calligraphy on many of the stamps in the 6000s.
Charley Bandes -- Website developer, Photographer, photography teacher, technical advisor, senior stamp designer. Charley is the most up-to-date technically of us, most knowledgable about the internet, and does the most interesting stamping. All stamps with catalog numbers in the 2000s are his. Charley’s studies in printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) were a perfect background for designing stamps. His own site for professional photography is bandesphoto.com. He recently developed the site Web of Heroes as a project for a data visualization course at Harvard.
Anne Bandes -- Lawyer, world traveler, Anne occasionally helps with the family stamp business and has allowed us to use a doodle and some of her childhood drawings. Stamps 5401 - 5404. Anne had the first web site of any of us when she was an undergrad at Smith College, but it has been gone since she graduated.
Ed Shems -- Illustrator, guest stamp designer, RISD graduate. Catalog numbers 5600s
Robin Taylor -- Eraser carver par excellence, guest stamp designer, catalog numbers 5500s. Robin lives in Alexandria, VA, and does sketches at the National Zoo and the Smithsonian which are the basis of many of her complex and graphically powerful carvings.
Linda Orem -- Horsewoman, guest stamp designer, catalog numbers 5300s
